Hello, Dimitri. I watched your latest on YouTube and wish to comment. I am an American man in his 70s. I was an antiwar activist in 1970. I contributed to an antiwar newspaper and participated in marches.
This drew the attention of the “Michigan State Police Red Squad” and its partner, the FBI, and its COINTELPRO, which I am sure you are familiar with. I was set up for a drug bust by local police and threatened with ten years imprisonment. Getting out from under this cost me thousands of dollars, and soon thereafter I was arrested again with another staged drug bust.
I probably shouldn’t write about this on a public forum, but as I said, I am an old man and, really, I no longer care. My small contribution, and large personal sacrifice, helped end the Vietnam War.
I have followed the Palestinian issue since the 1980s. I wrote about Zionism on a now-defunct blog, and this resulted in death threats. I was on the street protesting Bush’s wars, but we saw how that worked out. It did virtually nothing. Bush said we were a “focus group.”
I don’t want to make this too long. Here’s the crux. It does not matter how many millions of people march in opposition to the wars and billionaire corporate oligarchy in the US. There will never be a revolution in this country unless the people begin to feel a financial squeeze, as they are now.
Simply put, the empire must fall from within before anything will change. The corporate fascist state can usually snuff out serious opposition in several ways, as my experience demonstrated.
The only way this will end is if the US and its genocidal Zionist partner implode, economically and socially. That is now happening. Unfortunately, a lot of people will die in the process.
There are billions of "Arabs" throughtout the world. To lump them all together as one homogenous race that should stick up for each other is foolish.
There are 57 different "Arab" countries, each with unique cultures, histories and traditions and varying degress of Islam - Shia, Sunni, etc.. It's like saying westeners are all white-skinned, blue eyed and all Catholics.
There is only one "Jewish" country - Israel. But, not all Jews are Israeli citizens and not all Israelis are Jewish. Not all Jews are Orthodox, Hasidic, Askanzi or follow Zionism.
For Ritter or Galloway to say they've suddenly "given up on the Arabs" deserves further exploration. Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria have harboured tens of thousands of Palestian Refugees since the Nekbah of 1948. The Arab countries that fought for Palestine in 1967, lost the war and, If they accept more Palestinians, they will only be fulfilling the Zionists ethnic cleansing and achieve a Jewish state.
Where l am hopeful is seeing the world waking up to the evils of Zionism. The BDS movement is affecting the Israeli citizens and destroying Israels economy Israelis are leaving in droves (mostly to the USA) and those who remain are on the verge of a revolution. Once the Zionists are cleansed and the citizens realize they've been duped, there will be a two state solution and Palestine will be finally be free.
Some Arabs (Saudis,Bahrain, Oman,Qatar ,UAE) have abandoned many ARABS . These Arabs are just PUPPETS of AMERICAN FASCIST HEGEMONY. PROFITS before other ARABS even their own CITIZENS. If anything these OIL PRODUCING COUNTRIES should be cutting off Exports of OIL/LNG TO WESTERN/EUROPEAN COUNTRIES. Until PALESTINIANS/SYRIANS/IRAQIS/LIBYANS have SOVEREIGNTY ,TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY.
Convenient, isn't it, that Galloway and Ritter disavowed their membership in the bomb club., something they can no more do than any of the rest of us. We, like it or not are inextricably caught in the current of a swift river and all own at least a tiny part of this.
Hello Dimitri, couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve recently come to understand how difficult it is to send money to Gaza. So far, it seems that the best way to do this may be through crypto currencies. Many people want to help, but are reluctant to trust individuals with GoFundMe pages. Also, the GFM has fees, and then still needs to be transferred into Gaza….if by MoneyGram or by WesternUnion , there are very high fees. Believe it or not, crypto seem to be a way because this who have a lot of cash are eager to swap the cash for crypto USDT (is popular crypto), which would basically get more money into and circulating around Gaza. Through your network, do you know anyone who knows about crypto? Or the best way to transfer money direct to a family? Maybe if a way is found to donate directly, then maybe one family will not only donate to them, but talk with and get to know the Gazan family. Maybe this helps to give us understanding, closeness, and help to fund raise in our local communities, perhaps.
Being Gaza into our homes. And be a small part of that family for some moments. We may help and learn a lot.
Anyways, an idea, to write an article, a case study in the challenges and hopefully benefits of moving funds from one Canadian family to one Gazan family….
At this time when aid is not getting through, and when aid arriving is poisoned and sabotaged, maybe a one to one family support could be a solution for some.

Oh, and to be clear, I’m. It a trader. I’m an engineering consultant. I didn’t know a thing about crypto until yesterday when I was asked by Abdallah in Gaza…a young man who worked for 2 years in a fashion store, an supported his parents, as the youngest and only unmarried child, now 20 years old. Fled their home in Rafah. Some of his siblings homes are bombed. He has a tent, too cold now for his parents, especially after his father’s heart surgery.
Abdallah told me that he has had more people responding to his GFM to ask him for money to promote his campaign in social media that he has had people making donations. Disgraceful.
We see the difficulties on our side, but look at the difficulties from the other side: the two sides of the bitcoin, so to speak.
Maybe an interview or an article with someone who has good advice could help?
I don’t think I’ve yet seen any coverage of the difficulties and practical solutions to getting money to Gaza. It seems a flexible approach is needed as more and more there are accounts and transfers being shut down.
Ultimately, a system where individuals can verify that they are taking to a real Gazan, and see what they need, and then have an option to get direct funds to that person…no matter how much or little. And nobody needs to speak Arabic….there are translators on all of our phones. If there is any part of that you could help with or steer me towards someone who could help….its to popularize a method, not an organization.
The digitalization of our world (in last 2-3 decades) seem to have benefited the criminals from wall street & silicon valley much more than us, the public.

I read/heard years ago that man's avoidance of pain is even greater than his/her quest for pleasure.
Maybe, as you indicate, pain will the means by which humankind will stand in sufficient numbers against the genocide in Gaza and at large. Maybe.
The true measure of a life well-lived is doing the best that we can. Yes, you.

"It is OUR bombs, man!" - nail on head. Thank you and shared.
